'Janajagruti Abhiyan'

In Yavatmal, 20 farmers died due to the inappropriate use of toxic pesticides, and after hearing the news, thorn came on the body. The poisonous pesticides used for agriculture and farmers do not take any kind of care when they use them (masks, hand gloves, goggles, hats, boots E.) they do not know how badly they are affected, and the companies providing these medicines, does not generate awareness about this. As a result, such cases occur. The farmer cultivates and grows vegetables for you, but if he dies, who is responsible for him? This is really a big question. The life of farmers is valued so it is necessary to take proper care in spraying pesticides. Generation of awareness is necessary for farmers to handle pesticides and their safe use, Therefore, a public awareness campaign for insecticides has been started in the period from October 22 to November 22, 2017, in association with the All India Vegetable Manufacturers' Association, New Delhi, Panchayat Samiti Agricultural Department, Decent Foundation Pune and the subsequent Lokrajya Maha Abhiyan. This includes guidance, advice and demonstrations of agricultural experts. Under the campaign, some farmers are being given a safety kit. In addition to this, they will be conducting independent training programs for the laborers and the school students will be involved in this campaign. He also appealed to farmers to take help from all the doctors in the taluka. Under the campaign, Amrapurkar, Goregaon, Aladre, Kabadwadi, Pimpalgaon E. Nearly 400 farmers participated in the villages.
