Sanskar Swachtecha

Sanskar Swachtecha

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” are the words said my Mahatma Gandhi. In a developing and temperate country like India it is very important that all the people know the importance of cleanliness and follow the same in their lives.

Through this activity the members of the Foundation aim to educate the school kids. The school kids in villages are very unaware of the importance of cleanliness and sanitisation and the problems created due to the lack of the same. Sanskar Swachtecha is one such program undertaken by the foundation for the schools and school children in the villages.

Through this program cleanliness kits which include all the necessary items for maintaining the cleanliness of the schools and surrounding areas is provided free of cost to the schools in the rural areas. Cleanliness kit consists about 25 materials like broom, big and small dustbins, mops, cleaning chemicals, etc required to maintain cleanliness. In this first stage of the program till now more than 100 schools have been provided this cleanliness kits.

In the second stage, all these school kids are properly educated and trained about personal hygiene and cleanliness of the home and surrounding. The foundation members visit the schools regularly and monitor the proper use of the kits provided and cleanliness maintained in the schools and school surroundings. Whenever required they also provide the schools necessary support so that the schools and the kids regularly maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the school premises and nearby areas. This helps the school kids to inculcate cleanliness not just as an activity but a habit. A clean and a beautiful school nurture a safe and a happy learning for the kids.
