“At Decent Foundation, our ‘Ek Sadi Ti Chya Sathi’ program embodies the spirit of giving and compassion, especially during the festive season of Diwali. Through this initiative, we collect new and gently-used sarees from generous donors in the community and distribute them to underserved women, including those who are economically disadvantaged, backward, or in need. Along with the sarees, we also provide sweet boxes, spreading joy and warmth during the festival of lights. By extending a helping hand and bringing smiles to the faces of women in need, we aim to promote dignity, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging within our community. Together, let’s make Diwali a celebration of love, generosity, and solidarity for all.”
